Games Night

The Advanced Development Centre give players an opportunity to further enhance the skills they have developed in training.

The boys will be  given  the opportunity to play a series of small sided games against all of the centres. The emphasis is on boys being comfortable in possession of the ball, being creative and expressive in possession and learning by making decisions (And if necessary mistakes). The coaches are briefed to support players learning through questioning, guiding, and trial and error. You will rarely hear our coaches work using direct instruction in order to facilitate player-centred decision making opportunities.

In some circumstances you may notice that there is one coach managing both teams. Please do not be alarmed by this. Our coaches all work for the same club, share the same ethos and work to the same philosophy and learning outcomes. Our coaches are expected to develop all players in the Cardiff City FC Advanced Development Centre programme.

Matches will include the other centre with in the group:

Newport ADC

Cardiff ADC

Important

The games night is generally held on the 5 week of the rotation.

This will mean travelling to the other centres within our group.

* If selected to represent the Bristol ADC Please be prepared to travel or let us know ASAP if you are unable to make the game

Bristol Development Centre forms part of our player pathway, developing junior talent through high level coaching. We offer the oppertunity for talented young players to train and improve whilst still playing for their club.
